March 14 is the one day a year when math teachers, more than usual, get their geek on.
It’s 3.14, after all, a day to pay tribute to π. That’s pronounced pi, by the way, a mathematical constant that represents the ratio between the circumference of a circle and its diameter. That is, the circumference of a circle is equal to 3.14 times its diameter.
